If I were to nitpick, the only minor negative aspect is that the nearest airport is a bit further away, approximately 64 km from Drumhierney Lodge. However, this was not a major inconvenience for me as I was only staying for a short transit period.

Finally a place with WiFi and parking! Loved the garden views and free shuttle service. The flat-screen TV was a plus too.

Denise and Stephen are very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was beautiful, spotlessly clean and very homely. We had the use of a sitting room with warm fire and a much-needed cuppa. Breakfast was delicious - very tasty. Really enjoyed our stay in the peace and quiet of this lovely lodge. We also loved their gorgeous little dog!

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Denise and Stephen, the hosts, were friendly and helpful, making us feel like part of the family. They gave us great suggestions for sightseeing and were very attentive. The breakfast was delicious, with a full Irish breakfast served each morning. We were also welcomed with tea and biscuits upon arrival. The central location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to transportation and nearby attractions. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

What an amazing Christmas experience! the communication was fantastic and we were welcomed with warm tea and delicious shortbread. the mattress and bed linens were the best we've had in a long time. the setting was breathtaking and the house was beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and comfortable ambiance. We loved sitting in the sitting room, in front of a warm stove, watching a late-night show on the wide screen TV. the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients. We couldn't have asked for a better Christmas stay.
