We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with cereal and fruit every morning, and the location was perfect with easy access to a nearby castle, local pubs, restaurants, and popular attractions in Ireland like the Cliffs of Moher.

Free WiFi: The WiFi at this accommodation was as fast and reliable as a well-trained marathon runner. I never had any issues staying connected, which made uploading all my vacation photos a breeze!
Limited taxi service: Taxi availability to Kilronan Castle was as sporadic as finding a four-leaf clover. It's best to plan ahead or bring your own car to avoid waiting and shelling out for multiple rides.

I recently stayed at Drumhierney Lodge during my travels through County Leitrim, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. First and foremost, the hosts were amazing. They were warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. the accommodation itself was incredibly comfortable and stylish. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated, providing the perfect sanctuary after a long day of exploring.
If I were to nitpick, the only minor negative aspect is that the nearest airport is a bit further away, approximately 64 km from Drumhierney Lodge. However, this was not a major inconvenience for me as I was only staying for a short transit period.

During my transit in County Leitrim, I stayed at Drumhierney Lodge, a convenient accommodation that is located just 64 km from the nearest airport. This proximity made it easy and hassle-free for me to reach the lodge and settle down after a long journey. the lodge provided a comfortable and cozy atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and relaxing during my short stay.
Although the database mentioned that the castle was a 15-minute drive away, the availability of taxi services was not regular.

Finally a place with WiFi and parking! Loved the garden views and free shuttle service. The flat-screen TV was a plus too.
Oh, how I hate when hotels have private parking and free WiFi. Such a disappointment.

What an amazing Christmas experience! the communication was fantastic and we were welcomed with warm tea and delicious shortbread. the mattress and bed linens were the best we've had in a long time. the setting was breathtaking and the house was beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and comfortable ambiance. We loved sitting in the sitting room, in front of a warm stove, watching a late-night show on the wide screen TV. the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients. We couldn't have asked for a better Christmas stay.
The distance from the main attractions, which took about 15 minutes by car. the taxi service was quite irregular, so it would be best to book a lift in advance or have a car to avoid waiting and taking multiple taxis.
